Microsense has developed a content management system for organizing and facilitating the creation of web content and for managing a large number of spreadsheets and documents.
The system comprises a large database, File System and other related software modules which are used to store and later retrieve data. A special client software helps in editing and constructing pages out of documents. The content creation is based on a pre-written template that acts as a platform for each page in the site as those pages are created.
An easy to use web-browser interface and a custom tag library help in easy templating. The application has the capability to create within minutes, several thousands of web pages from templates. Along with the database handling facilities, the application allows administrator to contribute information to the website via a browser interface.
Users of the system can find relevant content from a simple and intuitively designed layout. A powerful search facility helps users to quickly look up for information by providing keywords. |
